THE FOOTBALL BOY
People
shouted with excitement,
Fostered
players to get entertainment.
The players
searched a way to score a goal.
Everyone
fought to control the football.
People
stopped and moved,
But fans
ardently watched.
A small boy
with a school bag,
Came to the
ground in a lag.
He stood
before the spectators in one end,
Moved his
eyes all over the ground.
His name was
unknown to his observers,
The love
for the game revealed through his favorite stars.
He wrote
the names of game changers,
On his bag
with chalk pieces.
He stood
ardently throughout the day
To enjoy
the ecstasy produced by the play.
In the evening,
he disappeared from the site,
But he
might have enjoyed the sportive rite.
